SUPERCAR

Gordon Murray T.33 Spider, the "open-top" supercar enhances the sound of the 670-hp V12

The T.33 Spider is the latest addition to Gordon Murray's family of signature models, distinguished by its unique styling and mechanics. This new model is closely related to the coupé version, but has some fundamental differences in terms of the driving experience.

In particular, the Spider aims to offer a more immersive experience with the sound of the V12.  The Spider was actually designed before the coupé, which allowed the proportions and characteristics of both models to be maintained.

The only significant difference lies in the addition of a double carbon fibre panel, which can be removed and placed in the front boot. The interior of the Spider is elegant and features leather and alcantara upholstery, with carbon fibre trim on the seats and steering wheel.

The interior
The Spider's interior is elegant and features leather and alcantara upholstery, with carbon fibre trim on the seats and steering wheel. The instrument cluster of the T.33 Spider remains the same as the coupé version, with an analogue tachometer and 11,100 rpm full scale value. The two screens next to the instrument panel display climate and infotainment settings, including support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Unchanged performance
Despite the weight addition, the Spider maintains the same performance as the coupe thanks to its V12 engine developed by Cosworth.

Little data released
As in the case of the coupe version, the British brand does not reveal top speed and 0-100 acceleration figures, although values in line with those of Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari Roma and Porsche 911 Turbo can be expected.
