More and more China in Europe: ZEEKR arrives with high-tech luxury electric cars

The luxury electric car brand Zeekr, owned by Geely, has announced that it will debut high-tech models in the European market, starting in Sweden and the Netherlands in 2023. 

The company, whose goal is to expand globally and accelerate the transition to more sustainable mobility, introduced its flagship Zeekr 001 and the Zeekr X SUV. 

The company has developed a design philosophy focused on people and details to ensure a flawless driving experience.

Zeekr 001
The first models to hit the European market are the Zeekr 001, a luxury shooting brake with a range of around 600 km, and the Zeekr X urban mobility SUV. Sales of these vehicles will start in Sweden and the Netherlands in the last months of 2023, and will then be expanded with new models and in other countries.

The brand philosophy 
Zeekr has developed a people-centred design philosophy, ensuring a flawless driving experience through advanced connectivity systems and over-the-air (OTA) software updates. Zeekr models are developed in Zeekr Europe's design and R&D centres in Gothenburg, where a team of more than 1,500 designers and engineers work, having already designed and produced several successful models for the Geely Group.

The company intends to solve these problems through a One-Stop-Shop approach and a comprehensive service offer including financing, insurance, charging and connectivity solutions.
