Fiat has officially unveiled the new Fiat 600e, marking the brand's return to the B-SUV category. This new model takes the place of the 500X, which the automaker decided not to renew. The car will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Poland, on the same production line as the Jeep Avenger.

Based on the second-generation CMP platform
The Fiat 600e and Jeep Avenger are both based on the second-generation CMP platform. Initially, the Fiat 600e will be launched as an all-electric vehicle, but a hybrid version will be introduced in mid-2024. It remains to be seen whether this hybrid range will be available globally or only in certain markets, as in the case of the Jeep Avenger.

Two all-electric versions
The Fiat 600e will be available in two different all-electric versions. The Fiat 600e La Prima will be the flagship, while the Fiat 600e RED will be the more economical version. Both versions will have a distinctive red color (but will also be available in black and white) and will offer room for five people and more storage space than other cars in the same category.

The exterior design of the Fiat 600e is fresh and dynamic without sacrificing the manufacturer's Italian roots. The car features an elongated silhouette with chrome details on the front and sides, new LED light fixtures, and oversized 18-inch wheels. The presence of the Italian flag on the rear bumper confirms the vehicle's Italian identity.

The interior of the Fiat 600e offers comfort and technology. The digital instrument cluster is 7 inches, the infotainment screen is 10.25 inches, and there are eight cabin lighting options. The seats, made of Ivory synthetic leather with FIAT lettering, offer back massaging. The car also offers ample storage space for passengers' belongings.

Rich safety equipment and driver assistance
The Fiat 600e is equipped with modern driver assistance and safety systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Autonomous Emergency Braking, a Level 2 driver assistance system, and a driver fatigue and concentration monitoring system. There are also 360-degree sensors and a 180-degree reversing camera.

Power, range and charging options
The Fiat 600e's electric motor produces 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque, while the battery has an energy capacity of 54 kWh. The car offers an urban range of over 600 km and a combined range of over 400 km. It is equipped with a 100 kW fast-charging system, which can charge the battery to 80 percent in less than half an hour. It also has an 11 kW on-board charger and cable for charging at home or at public chargers, ensuring a full charge in less than 6 hours. Orders for the Fiat 600e will open July 5, with first deliveries expected by September. Prices start at €35,950 for the RED version and €40,950 for the "La Prima" version.
