Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: the electric car that revolutionizes the canons of sportiness, inspired by motorsport

The electric revolution arrives in the sports car world with the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Lower, wider and longer, and featuring black detailing and wide tyres.

But it's not just the bodywork that impresses, it's the mix of technologies inherited from motorsport, with the incorporation of a new boosted engine that delivers an impressive 650 hp.

Highlights include a reinforced steering column, extra adhesive and 42 extra welding points. Innovation also extends to the devices, such as the N Pedal and N Drift Optimiser, which tailor the ride for maximum performance.

Functions on the track and sound
Added to these devices are the e-LSD, the electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle, which optimises performance and control in corners; N Grin Boost, which offers a 10-second power boost on the track; N Launch Control; and Track SOC, which automatically calculates battery consumption for each lap. Finally, the N e-shift function simulates the gearsticks of the eight-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), while the N Active Sound + utilises a 10-speaker system (eight internal and two external) to offer three distinct sound themes, and you won't miss the thermal noise.
